A family run business based in Harrogate recently started works on this former council head quarters building. The plans to change it into office space with a gym and garden top restaurant were underway but needed the buildings exterior to match the style. Our client asked us for advice on how best to clean the Georgian style building.
Our approach
This stunning building constructed in the late 18th century needed to be washed with high temperature, low pressure water and the use of cleaning solutions to remove the soot and build up of dirt. With 2 machines set at low pressure the total 24 litres of water per minute covered the 38,000 sq ft building in 11 days.
The Results
Our client was delighted by the results and was sure that now the exterior is looking impressive even more attention will be brought to this magnificent building in the heart of Harrogate town centre.
